3 generations of Morfitts operate The Pinto Beanery Company
In 1976, the Morfitts started farming onions in Delta. After some time, they successfully began growing pinto beans. This small enterprise grew into two lines: Red Donkey Brand and then Pancho Brand.
Our beans are available online in 2, 5 and 10 pound bags. Larger quantities can be obtained by contacting us via email or phone.
Although our beans are primarily sold in the Southwest United States - Phoenix, Texas and California, we do have the capability to ship worldwide.

Welcome to the Pinto Beanery Company!
The Morfitt family farm is located at 5,000 feet elevation in a mesa overlooking the Uncompahgre Valley in Western Colorado. Our crops are nurtured by water from the snow-covered mountains in the Gunnison, Colorado high country.
Three generations (Richard and Bette, son Don and grandson Kyle) grow some of the finest pinto beans in the United States.
